I am an idealistic and a dreamer person. I believe that the world could be a better place for everyone. I care of wildlife preservation, cultural heritage and social causes. I use to be polite.
I have a thirst of knowledge. I am graduate of History, but I have many other interests. I like to have a mental image of the world. I am not rich to travel as I would like to do, so I use the books, magazines and the internet to build my image of the world.
Since my times of scholar, I am a great admirer of the Roman Empire and I have a great proud in portuguese history. At present, I believe in European Union project.

Nestes tempos de crise, em que a minha mui amada Pátria Portuguesa parece não ter futuro, não posso deixar de recordar estes versos do imortal Camões:

Acredito no projecto da União Europeia, mas continuo a ser português antes de ser europeu.

History, Geography, International Politics, Nature, Tourism.

My musical passion is the classical music. I like to listen Wagner, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Rachmaninov, Berlioz, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Lully, Vivaldi and many other composers. I also like folklore or world music because it reflects the soul of a people. I like the portuguese fado or the argentinian tango, for example. Among the modern music, I like some pop and rock and gothic metal, but not too much. According to my spirit, I can listen Robbie Williams, Madonna, Dido, Evanescense, Within Temptation or portuguese music (which you probably don't know!).
